A house that epitomizes all the pleasures of renting in the charming hill village of Deia, this lovely private home enjoys spectacular sea views and even has a small private pathway leading down to a beach cove. Luxuriously furnished with a mixture of statues and artwork, this is a most elegant and pleasing villa with lovely gardens and the ever-sought-after merit of easy beach access. The main arched entrance opens into a very spacious and bright living room with beamed ceilings, fireplace and different seating areas all luxuriously furnished to make this a very comfortable and relaxing room. Adjacent is a very cosy television room with wall-mounted plasma screen satellite television and DVD together with a desk for computer and ADSL Internet including music surround system for the entire house. Both these rooms open onto a spacious terrace with wisteria covered pergola and lovely relaxing seating areas. On this same level is a guest cloakroom and a double bedroom with 4-poster bed and en suite bathroom with shower. This opens onto a terrace overlooking the herb garden at the side of the house. The fully equipped kitchen, with herb garden at the back door, leads into a separate dining room with table to seat six and includes a small seating area with a traditional Mallorcian fireplace – this was once the main kitchen area. From here stairs lead to the basement where there is another bedroom with 4-poster bed, ideal for staff, and next to this a bathroom with bath tub. Adjacent is a small living room with sofas and a small television and DVD. Further along are two rooms with billiard table and table tennis table. On the first floor are the remaining three bedrooms; a Master bedroom with a 4-poster bed with en suite bathroom with shower, dressing room and a pretty terrace with beautiful bougainvillea and views of the and gardens and sea. Bedrooms three and four, also opening onto a terrace and one of which has views of the sea and gardens. Both have 4-poster double beds and share a bathroom with shower. The exteriors are quite exquisite with paved terraces surrounding the villa and beautifully maintained lawns and gardens with an array of different species of plants and trees including orange and olive trees. There are also plenty of seating areas to enjoy the superb views. The 6 x 11 metre swimming pool has Roman steps with sun terraces surrounding and a shower/changing room on a level just below the terrace. STAFF: Daily maid service from Monday to Saturday.
